BMW 1 Series E87 3dr.

BMW upgraded the 1-Series for 2007 and introduced a 3-door sports hatch variant. The size of the car is exactly the same as that of the 5dr. version, insuring sufficient legroom for the passengers in the back. For easier access in the back, the front seats are equipped with an "easy-entry" system.
The engine range is also the same except for the 1.6l engine which was considered "underpowered" for this sports hatch. Top of the line engine is the 130i, developing 265hp and a 0-100km/h in 6 seconds flat. As these impressive figures were not enough, BMW announced a more powerful version later this year, the 135i.
